These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors. In situations where the terms of this site and these rules have conflicting statements, the terms of this site shall govern. These rules are not meant to make posting on this site hard, we want everyone to have a professional place to talk, these rules are here to make sure everyone has a professional place to have professional dicussions. Please make sure you read all the rules.

1. Registering

Names that mimic staff titles (e.g., “Admin,” “Moderator,” “Official,” etc.) are prohibited unless officially assigned by the forum administrators.
      
      Usernames should reflect a professional or community-appropriate identity. You may use your real name, a professional alias, or a neutral handle, but all must comply with our community standards of respect and decency.
      
      If a username violates this policy, forum staff may edit, suspend, or delete the account without prior notice. Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban. #
   2. Each individual is permitted to have only one active account on the NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum. Creating or maintaining multiple accounts (“alts,” “sock puppets,” or duplicate profiles) is strictly prohibited.

   3. Intentionally provoking, insulting, or derailing discussions is not allowed. Posts meant to start arguments or create hostility may be removed, and repeated offenders may be suspended. #

3. Posting and Content Standards

   1. Posts must relate directly to the forum section or thread topic. Off-topic, spam, or unrelated posts will be moved or deleted to maintain discussion quality. #
   2. Make sure your posts add value. Avoid one-word replies, spam messages, or repeated content. Clear, respectful communication helps the forum remain useful to everyone. #
   3. Do not post or link to any illegal, explicit, copyrighted, or violent content. Content promoting harm, hate, or unlawful activity will be immediately removed and may lead to permanent banning. #
   4. While casual conversation is welcome, users are encouraged to write clearly and professionally, especially in training or legal-related discussions. #

4. Banning

   1. Accounts may be suspended or permanently banned for violating forum rules, posting prohibited content, or engaging in behavior that disrupts the community. This includes but is not limited to harassment, hate speech, spam, impersonation, or illegal activity. #
   2. Members who receive multiple warnings or repeatedly violate forum policies may be subject to temporary or permanent bans. The number of warnings before a ban will depend on the severity and frequency of the violations. 3 Warnings in a 90 day period will result in a 30 day automatic suspension. #
   3. Serious violations — such as threats, doxxing, harassment, hate speech, illegal content, or impersonation of staff — may result in immediate permanent banning without prior warning. Such bans are non-negotiable and final. #
   4. Creating or using multiple accounts to evade a suspension, manipulate discussions, or deceive other members will result in a permanent ban on all associated accounts. IP addresses may be logged to prevent re-registration. #
   5. Any attempt to circumvent a ban or restriction, such as using VPNs, proxy accounts, or other users’ profiles to post, will extend or make the ban permanent. Such actions demonstrate deliberate disregard for forum rules. #
   6. Members who harass, threaten, or verbally abuse moderators or administrators may be immediately banned. All forum staff deserve professional and respectful communication from members at all times. #
   7. Members found to have falsified information, impersonated individuals or organizations, or engaged in deceptive practices may have their accounts banned permanently. This includes falsifying credentials, licenses, or affiliations in training or security-related discussions. #
   8. Any member posting or sharing illegal, explicit, or copyrighted material, or content involving nudity, gore, hate symbols, or criminal activity, will be banned permanently. Such content will also be reported to appropriate authorities if required. #
   9. Members who believe a ban was issued in error may submit an appeal by contacting [email protected]. Appeals must include a clear explanation and acknowledgment of the issue. The final decision on any appeal rests solely with the forum administration team. #
   10. The decision to suspend or ban a user rests with the moderator that is investigating the rule or policy violation. Their decision unless appealed is final. #
   11. The moderator will have the options depending on the severity of the violation to issue a suspension/ban anywhere from 1 day to forever ban. These are usually done in 30, 60, 90, 1 Year, Forever. But is not required to go in any order. #

5. Privacy and Security

   1. Do not share personal or private information (yours or others’) such as addresses, phone numbers, or confidential communications. Respect the privacy of all members. #
   2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. The forum will never ask for your password. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the administrators. Remember no moderator, administrator, or anyone from this forum will ever ask you for your password. #
   3. By using this forum, you consent to the collection and storage of basic account and activity data as outlined in the Privacy Policy. NM TASERS And More Training LLC does not sell or rent member information. #

6. Advertising and Sales

   1. Unapproved advertising, referral links, or promotional spam is not allowed. Businesses may advertise only in approved sections or with written admin permission. #
   2. Firearm sales or trades are strictly prohibited. TASER sales are allowed only if both parties ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. NM TASERS And More Training LLC is not a party in user-to-user sales and assumes no liability. #
   3. Users participating in any allowed sales or trades are fully responsible for verifying legality and the legitimacy of the transaction. Always use caution when conducting private exchanges. #
   4. Paid advertising options are available for businesses and members who wish to promote products or services.

   5. Posts made solely for self-promotion or to drive traffic to external sites are considered spam. This includes repeated product mentions, referral links, or promotional signatures. Violations may lead to removal of content, loss of posting privileges, or permanent ban depending on severity. #
   6. Members may post items for sale only in the Marketplace Section (if available) and only if those items are lawful, relevant, and compliant with all applicable laws.
      
      Firearm sales or trades are strictly prohibited.
      TASER sales are allowed only if both parties verify compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
      NM TASERS And More Training LLC is not a party to any user-to-user sales and assumes no liability. #
   7. Signatures and user profiles may not contain advertising, referral links, or promotional messages unless you are an approved advertiser or sponsor, and the signature ad has been approved by NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum adminitrators.
      Unapproved promotional content in signatures will be removed, and repeat offenses may result in account action. #
   8. Nothing in this section is intended to prevent a user from responding to another users request about where the best place to buy a product is, or where to find a product. For example if User A is looking for a baton, nothing in this section or any other section is intended to to prevent User B from providing a link to a baton that they used and like to help that user out. #

7. Moderator and Administrator Authority

   1. Moderators and administrators may edit, lock, move, or delete posts that violate forum rules. Their decisions are final. Publicly arguing moderation actions is prohibited. #
   2. Members may receive warnings for rule violations. Repeated offenses or serious misconduct can result in temporary or permanent suspension. #
   3. If you see a rule violation, use the “Report” feature or contact a moderator. Do not engage in public arguments with the violator. #
   4. Moderators are representatives of NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum and must conduct themselves with professionalism at all times. They are expected to be fair, respectful, and neutral when handling member interactions, ensuring that personal opinions or emotions do not influence moderation actions. #
   5. Moderators are responsible for enforcing all forum rules consistently and without bias. This includes issuing warnings, editing or removing posts that violate policies, and reporting serious or repeated violations to administrators. Moderators must never create or enforce “unwritten rules” outside of what is officially published. #
   6. Moderators should communicate clearly and respectfully with members when taking moderation actions. Whenever possible, provide a brief explanation when editing, moving, or removing a post. Moderators are also encouraged to work as a team, informing other staff of actions taken to maintain transparency and consistency. #
   7. Information discussed in moderator-only sections, private messages, or staff communications must remain strictly confidential. Moderators are not allowed to share private information about members, reports, or disciplinary decisions outside the moderation team. #
   8. Moderators must remain impartial and avoid conflicts of interest. They should not moderate discussions in which they are personally involved in disputes. If a moderator has a conflict, the issue should be referred to another moderator or an administrator for review. #
   9. Moderator permissions and tools must only be used for official moderation duties. They may not be used for personal convenience, to gain an advantage in discussions, or to alter unrelated forum content. Unauthorized or abusive use of moderation tools will result in disciplinary action or removal from the moderator team. #
   10. Moderators must report serious violations — such as threats, harassment, illegal content, or security breaches — directly to administrators immediately. These issues may also be escalated to law enforcement if required by law. #

   13. Moderators serve at the discretion of the forum administration. Failure to follow these rules or repeated misuse of moderator privileges may result in removal from the moderator team. Moderators wishing to resign should provide notice to administrators so transitions can be handled smoothly. #

8. Signature Guidelines

   1. All signatures must reflect the professional and safety-focused nature of this forum. Offensive, obscene, or disrespectful language is strictly prohibited. Signatures must follow the same standards as normal posts. #
   2. Political slogans, religious promotions, or controversial statements are not allowed in signatures. The forum is a professional environment for discussion of TASER training, security, and related topics — not for personal or ideological expression. #
   3. Signatures must be in English (to prevent confusion) or contain an accurate English translation. Slang, excessive emojis, or unprofessional wording is discouraged to maintain readability. #

   12. Users may receive warnings for minor signature violations. Repeated or intentional violations can result in loss of signature privileges or temporary suspension. #
   13. If unsure whether your signature complies with these guidelines, contact a moderator or administrator before posting it. They will gladly review it and provide feedback. #
   14. Avatars or avatar-style images may not be used within signatures unless they fully comply with all forum and signature rules. Signatures are designed to represent users professionally — not to serve as additional profile displays or visual distractions.
       
       No duplicate avatars: Your profile avatar and signature image must not be identical or designed to imitate staff badges, verified user icons, or rank tags.
